Suggested Itinerary
We will meet outside Mickleton Methodist Church in Mickleton. From here, we will begin our walk through some of England’s finest country side, through the grounds of the wonderful Hidcote Manor, past picturesque thatched cottages and medieval hamlets.
On route we will pass through the beautiful Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden here there will be a chance to see some of the elegant terraced high street that dates back to the 14th century and perhaps grab a brew and slice of cake - we will stop for lunch a bit later.
After a refreshment break, we will leave Chipping Campden and join the famous Cotswold Way, from here we take the undulating route north through ancient woodland. This part of the route has some steep climbs but will be well worth the effort as we make time to stop and take in the majestic scenery and all that the Cotswold’s landscape has to offer. After some photo opportunities we continue north back to Mickleton, where we will finish the walk and say our fond farewells.
